The Surreal Art of Joshua Astorian

I’ve been painting and making art in one way or another my whole life. It’s very important to me. I really anjoy abstraction, pareidolia, emergent art, and decalcomania. I am a tattooer by trade as well. I’m very interested in the surreal. I’m also interested in the realtionship between humans and AI/technology. I enjoy exploring these concepts in my art. I don’t like titling my work- that’s a note taken from one of my greatest influences, Zdzisław Beksiński. Most of his art is untitled so the viewer can better make up their own mind as to the meaning of the piece. Enjoy looking around! I have various forms of art for sale from painting to sculpture. I’m also starting a YouTube channel and will be providing paid courses to learn to make interesting art.
